Stylish Spectators!

One of the coolest things, for us, about watching golf in another country is seeing the differences in how fans approach the game and how they dress for the occasion. In the UK, patrons are expecting to experience constant change in weather, but many also seek to reflect a certain amount of their personal style with their choices.

The resulting looks are based around fantastic outerwear, waterproof shoes and boots - "flippers" - and great layering pieces like shetland wool sweaters, cashmere and quilted vests and scarves - lots of scarves!

Below is a small sampling of the people we saw taking in the action at Celtic Manor on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We can find more inspiration here than we ever could looking through a magazine or catalog!
